Imagine a supervillain dressed in black and green and wherever she walks green air follows. This air is stinky and comes straight out of her fingertips, but she enjoys the awful stench! Her name is Halle Tosis. She’s a supervillain created by Burg Children’s Dentistry to teach children about the dental condition of halitosis.
What exactly is halitosis? It’s when you get bad breath from oral care issues, certain dietary practices, or medical conditions. You may get bad breath naturally here and there but halitosis is when you get it on a more consistent basis. However, it is completely treatable.
How Can You Tell If Halle Tosis Has Been Around?
Don’t worry, you’re not going to be seeing green air coming out of your mouth like you might see in the comic books. Instead, you may notice a bad smell coming from your mouth—or someone else may notice it and tell you. It can be really hard to tell whether or not you have bad breath by yourself. If you can’t tell, ask a trusted friend or family member to take a whiff of your breath and tell you if it’s bad or good. If your breath is bad, Halle Tosis has come and it’s time to get to work kicking Her Evilness out of your mouth!
Who is Halle Tosis’s Archnemesis?
Halle Tosis really doesn’t like The Bristler or Dr. Diet. Whenever she’s around, The Bristler brings his bionic brushing powers and knocks out all of the bacteria with his paste punches. Then, Dr. Diet comes in with her strength, energy, and speed. She uses her telekinesis powers to tell you in your mind to eat a healthy diet.
A Word From Dr. Diet
Did you know that what you eat can make you have bad breath? For example, are you eating too much protein and too little carbs? A lot of candy and sweet treats? A good amount of garlic or onions? If so, you may be at risk of getting a visit from Halle Tosis. Take a good look at the food you’re eating and ask yourself, “Will this give me bad breath?” If so, try to eat a little less of those things.
How to Win the Battle Against Halle Tosis?
The Bristler and Dr. Diet need your help to defeat Halle Tosis, so grab your toothbrush and get ready for battle! Put some toothpaste on your toothbrush, and start scrubbing the bacteria away from your teeth. Then, floss in between all of your teeth to help get rid of any food or bacteria hiding away in the small crevices of your mouth. You should also consider using mouthwash. Swish, swish, and spit!
